EU to invest €5 million to strengthen nuclear safety in Armenia

The European Union is investing €5 million to strengthen nuclear safety in Armenia, the EU Delegation to Armenia announced on 3 November.

This funding will tackle two key areas: boosting safety at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant and supporting the dedicated teams at the Armenian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ANRA) and the Nuclear Radiation and Safety Centre (NRSC).

“Together, we’re taking important steps toward a safer tomorrow for everyone,” the EU Delegation to Armenia said in a Facebook post.
