EU launches new programme on integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia


On 13 June, the EU launched a new Twinning Programme on ‘Fostering integrity and preventing corruption in the public sector in Armenia’.

Over the next two years, the programme will develop and assist in the implementation of anti-corruption education and public awareness programmes, as well as relevant institutional capacities to create conditions for the prevention of corruption. It will also contribute to the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy.

The total programme budget €1 million.

The programme is funded by the European Union and will be implemented by the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Corruption Prevention Commission of the Republic of Armenia.
