Media Literacy Week 2024, supported by the European Union, was launched in Yerevan, Armenia, on 5 November.
Media Literacy Week aims to equip communities across Armenia with the necessary skills to deal with information.
At the opening of the event, Frank Hess, Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation to Armenia, highlighted the importance of critical thinking and conscious choices in navigating the modern media landscape.
A Media Literacy Toolkit, developed by Media Initiatives Centre as part of the EU-funded Youth in Action project, was also presented at the event.
