On 16 April, the European Union and Azerbaijan held talks in Brussels.

The talks were co-chaired by Audrone Perkauskine, Deputy Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the European External Action Service (EEAS) and Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev.

The meeting delivered “fruitful, forward-looking discussions”, the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan posted on Facebook.

“Good progress on the bilateral agreement and partnership priorities,” the Delegation said.
