Eight more Armenian servicemen released with EU support

On 7 February, eight more Armenian servicemen were released and arrived safely in Yerevan.

This return was made possible by the active mediation efforts of the President of European Council Charles Michel and the French President Emmanuel Macron.

Earlier, on 4 February, Charles Michel and Emmanuel Macron met virtually with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and discussed the recent releases of detainees, ongoing joint efforts to search for missing persons, as well as the upcoming restoration of railway tracks.
