Director for Eastern Partnership at the European Commission visits Armenia

Lawrence Meredith, Director for the Eastern Partnership and Institution Building at the European Commission, is visiting Armenia from 4 to 8 October. He was joined on his mission by representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Meredith met members of government, key business and civil society actors, to discuss Armenia’s flagships and set out a clear roadmap to implement them within the Economic and Investment Plan.

He also visited EU-supported projects, including ‘Hero House’, a game-changing entrepreneurship and start-up education programme, and the ‘Creative Armenia Foundation’, financed under the EU4Business Innovative Tourism for Armenia project.
