Apply now to become a Young European Ambassador!

Are you young, dynamic and enthusiastic about your country’s partnership with the European Union? Are you keen to learn more about EU opportunities for youth, represent your country on international level, and contribute to the development of your community? Do you want to learn new skills and make new friends from all over Europe, who share your ideas and interests?

If you are between the ages of 16 and 26, have a good level of English and are a citizen of an Eastern partner country (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine), or any EU Member State and the UK, you can apply from today to join the ‘Young European Ambassadors’ (YEAs) initiative, launched by the ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ programme.

To apply for a Young European Ambassador position, you have to complete this application form by the extended deadline of Sunday, 9 October 2022. There will be a few stages in the selection process and in the weeks following the application deadline, successful applicants will be invited to interviews and participate in special sessions about the YEAs initiative and related EU topics. More information on the application and selection process can be found here.

The ‘Young European Ambassadors‘ initiative was launched in 2016 as part of the EU Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood – ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ programme.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
