Vladislav Kaim is a Moldovan youth sustainability and climate advocate serving as a Young European Ambassador from 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Moscow State University of International Relations (MGIMO) and Master’s degree in Economics from Lund University (Sweden). Vladislav has been involved in youth work on climate and SDGs from late 2014 and has been actively involved in the work of multiple global youth constituencies, such as UN Major Group on Children and Youth (UN MGCY), SDG7 Youth Constituency and YOUNGO (official youth constituency to the UNFCCC). In 2019, he has been invited by the UN Secretary General’s Envoy on Youth to help organize first UN Youth Climate Summit in New York. Since 2020, Vladislav has been serving his mandate as the UN Secretary General’s Youth Advisor on Climate Change, with his most recent assignment being representation of youth interests at the UN High-Level Dialogue on Energy platform.
