Sara is a dedicated and driven graduate pursuing a Master’s degree in European Studies: Global Policy and Governance Challenges at Maastricht University. She is fluent in 5 languages and has studied abroad through the Erasmus+ program in Germany. She is often described as a diligent woman with a strong sense of ambition, resilience, determination, and motivation, known for her trustworthiness and leadership qualities. She holds a firm commitment to her ideals. Sara’s passion lies in European external affairs and the intricate dynamics between the EU and its neighbours. Her volunteering experiences have further ignited her interest in international migration and the ‘global south’. She firmly believes that a person’s future should not be determined by their place of birth. Her calling is to make a meaningful impact in changing this reality to the best of her ability.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
