  • Country of origin: EU
  • Current residence: Sweden

Paula from Bonn, Germany, was always fascinated by the European union especially after volunteering for a year with the European Solidarity Corps in Denmark. Given her deep interest in climate change, she is now studying Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science at Lund University. When she finishes her studies, she hopes to become a journalist to share her love for science and advocate for women in natural sciences. Furthermore, Paula has a passion for gender equality, learning new languages, exploring diverse cultures, singing, and working with children. That’s why she is volunteering in a language café for pupils and works as a youth coach in her favourite sport – jump rope.
