Nico is a student of Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin, with a special focus on theories of democracy and EU-related research. In the Young European Ambassadors network, he serves as the coordinator of the EU Ukraine Dialogue Initiative, which enables EU, UK, and Ukrainian Young European Ambassadors to work together in organising joint events, projects, and campaigns. As a member of the Working Group against Disinformation, Nico also aims to contribute his knowledge and practical experience in the field of journalism to combat fake news. Through his work, he strives to strengthen the European project, which he cares about very deeply. Nico is also passionate about promoting cross-cultural understanding through education and personal experience.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
