Mariia is currently working towards a Bachelor degree in Earth Science at the Київський національний університет iменi Тараса Шевченка (Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko). Mariia has participated in a variety of projects, such as the international ecological project, “City Park.” In 2019 and 2020 she wrote several scientific projects at the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), that were based on goals of sustainable development. She has also taken part in the script competition for young people “Unity in freedom” organised by the “EIDOS” centre and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Ukraine, as well as the ecological competition “ECO-POGLYAD” organised by Laboratory GIS and Remote Sensing of Earth academy Copernicus JASU.
