Giovanni, a Bachelor degree student at the Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy, is an avid volunteer with a keen interest in social issues, European policies, and international relations. Serving as a DiscoverEU ambassador and a member of BESTorino, he actively advocates for travel as a means for young people to explore diverse cultures in the wider European continent, while fostering lifelong connections and self improvement. His engagement in his local community shows commitment to promoting social awareness and active citizenship among young people. Eager to be part of the Young European Ambassadors, Giovanni looks forward to contributing his enthusiasm and dedication to the initiative.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
