Romani is a secondary school student with a passion for diplomacy. In the future he would like to become a diplomat. In his free time, Roma loves playing football and reading books, particulatly those by Agatha Christie, his favourite writer. He also loves travelling and has participated in a Georgian organised Young Diplomat’s project. 

Salome Archvadze

Salome is a secondary school student, interested in International Relations, hoping to study it at higher levels. She actively engages in various school and extracurricular projects, driven by her passion for understanding how countries cooperate. Volunteering since 2019, Salome enjoys helping diverse groups and connecting with people from different countries, embracing their cultures, beliefs and values. She is honoured to be a Young European Ambassador and she hopes this will help her achieve even more success in her professional development.

Mariami Aliashvili

Mariami is studying for a Bachelor degree in International Relations at Tbilisi State University, and has spent a semester at Universität Trier (Trier University) in Germany as an Erasmus+ exchange student. She is also a member of the ‘European Student Think Tank’, which aims to encourage youth engagement in European policy-making. Mariami has actively taken part in diverse training sessions and projects centered around human rights, state security, and international law. She is excited about contributing her skills to create positive changes within society.

Levan Abazadze

Levan enjoys Social Sciences and hopes to study Business Administration in the future. Beyond academics, he actively engages in numerous sport events, exemplifying a passion for a wholesome lifestyle. His keen interest in renewable energy sources reflects his dedication to sustainable practices. Driven by a profound vision, he aspires to contribute to a world united in peace, free from the burdens of war, hunger, and gender inequality.  

Babilina Alfenidze

Babilina is a secondary school student who is actively shaping the future of her community as a dedicated board member of the Youth Council of Zugdidi. Known for her enthusiasm in local governance, she engages fervently in the decision-making processes of her municipality. Beyond academics, she is commited to empowering youth and facilitating positive change. This exemplifies her dedication to community service. With a steadfast belief that nothing is impossible, Babilina embraces challenges and strives to inspire others to join her in creating a better future. 

Zurab Shatirishvili

  • Current residence: Georgia, Khashuri
Zurab is a Psychology student at the Georgian National University SEU. He is also a young professional working for Georgian and International corporations in HR, Career Development and Project Management. He spent a year studying Business Administration and Management at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University) in Karlsruhe, Germany. Zurab is currently the Head of the “New Generation Tbilisi” Youth Centre, where he implements projects about Education, Environmental Protection, and Civic Engagement. He is also a Member of the Council of the Social Sciences at his university and actively manages the Psychologists’ and International Students’ Club.

Tsira Erkvania

Tsira is studying for her Bachelor degree at the Faculty of International Relations of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She is from Abkhazia which is an occupied territory. This fuels her motivation and interest in finding and establishing peaceful ways of life in her community. She is also interested in public diplomacy and European integration. In her free time, she likes to practice yoga, solve puzzles and read historical books.

Tinatini Tsereteli

  • Current residence: Bolnisi, Georgia
Tinatini Tsereteli is studying for a Bachelor in Social Work at Tbilisi State University, and she has done an Erasmus+ exchange programme at the Fachhochschule Kiel (Kiel University of Applied Sciences) in Germany as part of her course. She is also actively involved in local and international youth projects and believes that young people have a significant role in creating a tolerant society.

Tekla Khachidze

  • Current residence: Georgia, Gori
Tekla is a law student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, passionate about diplomacy, travelling, and literature. She is also an intern at the State Employment Promotion Agency and has participated in the Erasmus + Youth Exchange programme “Awaken Voice”. She has been a speaker at Washington Business Week, involved in many debates, and has worked with the UNDP’s initiative. Tekla loves educating herself on various cultures, people, and traditions and additionally, is a peer educator in her hometown.

Tamari Lomidze

  • Country of origin: Georgia
  • Current residence: Georgia, Tbilisi
Tamari is studying for a Bachelor degree in International Relations at the Free University of Tbilisi. She is actively engaging in social activism, amongst other types of volunteer work, to contribute to building a promising future for her country. Tamari has been a lecturer at the School of Diplomacy and has given lectures on Euro-Atlantic security. She wants to implement various projects and activities together with her fellow ambassadors to further promote European values and raise the level of education in Georgia.

Tamari Shulga

  • Country of origin: Georgia
  • Current residence: Batumi, Georgia
Tamari is studying International Relations at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. In addition to politics and public administration, her areas of interest are human rights, feminism, journalism, and sociology. Tamari’s goal is to become a person whose work will benefit the well-being of others and help develop the country, and she is positive that being a hard and determined worker will be key in helping her achieve this goal.

Tamara Obgaidze

  • Country of origin: Georgia
  • Current residence: Georgia, Tbilisi
Tamara is studying for a Bachelor of International Relations at the Free University of Tbilisi, specialising in Korean and Spanish language. She has participated in lots of non-governmental organisation projects and has been a volunteer since 2018, particularly in sports events. Being a Young European Ambassador is the next step in her professional development and a new challenge she is delighted to take on. Tamara is willing to contribute her time and skills towards making the world a better place to live in. Her main goal is to implement lots of important projects on anti-racism, ethnic minority integration, refugee integration and conducting dialogue.

Tamar Natenadze

  • Country of origin: Georgia
  • Current residence: Georgia, Tbilisi
Tamar is interested in Political Science and Diplomacy. She has been actively involved in various projects connected to Model United Nations and the European Youth Parliament. She has also worked with governmental and non-governmental organisations. Tamar thinks being a Young European Ambassador is a great opportunity which will provide her with more experience, and allow her to meet new people and discover herself.

Sophio Baqradze

  • Country of origin: Georgia
  • Current residence: Georgia, Tbilisi
Sophio holds a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Caucasus University. She participated in the “Foreign Policy and Security” geocase training course and then became a youth researcher for this organisation. She has also participated in the “Territorial Challenges and Opportunities for Multicultural Democracies” project, organised by the Université de Lausanne (University of Lausanne). European integration is of great interest to her, and she is currently actively engaged in this field.

Shio Jashi

Shio Jashi is studying for a Bachelor degree at the International School of Economics of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He has many academic and professional interests, including Economics, International Relations, Global Studies, Linguistics, Environment, History, Geography and Culture. His interests also include non-formal education, and he has actively participated in different non-formal educational events. Shio believes that cooperation and unity lead to big changes for a better world. He is eager to be part of communities which aim to improve society’s well-being.
