Tekla is a law student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, passionate about diplomacy, travelling, and literature. She is also an intern at the State Employment Promotion Agency and has participated in the Erasmus + Youth Exchange programme “Awaken Voice”. She has been a speaker at Washington Business Week, involved in many debates, and has worked with the UNDP’s initiative. Tekla loves educating herself on various cultures, people, and traditions and additionally, is a peer educator in her hometown.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
