What is citizenship? EU project launches photo competition for young people in Georgia

An EU-funded project for the promotion of democratic citizenship in Georgia invites young people in Georgia to take part  in a photo competition on the topic of citizenship.

Photos should reflect the participant’s ideas/understanding about citizenship. The work must be accompanied by a short text description (not more than 250 words).

It is also important to include the author’s name, date of birth, address and phone number.

The competition is open to young people under the age of 35.

Winners will receive an honorarium.

The deadline for entries is 24 July.

Photos should be sent to the following address: [email protected].

The call is announced by the Georgian Centre for Strategy and Development (GCSD) as part of the ‘Promotion of Democratic Citizenship in Georgia’ project, implemented with the support of the European Union in the framework of the EU’s Eastern Partnership Civil Society Strengthening Programme. The aim of the project is to contribute to the strengthening of democratic values in Georgia.
