People in Need: grant call for Armenian civil society organisations

People in Need (PIN) invites Armenian civil society organisations (CSOs) to take part in an open call for proposals as part of the EU-funded ‘Sustainable, Impactful, and Inclusive Civil Society’ programme.

PIN offers two funding schemes.

Under Scheme 1, a total of 20 organisations will receive support: between 8.5 and 15 million Armenian drams for the implementation of a project aimed at fulfilling the organisation’s mission, while developing internal capacity.

Under scheme 2, CSOs selected under Scheme 1 will have the opportunity to apply for additional funding. It is planned to provide financial support to eight CSOs, and the total budget is 87 million Armenian drams.

Eligible projects can fall under the following topics: human rights, vulnerable groups (access to services, legal aid, education and social inclusion), policy dialogue (regional and national), democratic values (civic education, transparency and accountability efforts, participatory processes, and citizen engagement), and election processes (nonpartisan voter education, civic engagement, and election monitoring). Activities should not support or oppose any political party or candidate.

CSOs that are registered in Armenia, operate in communities outside Yerevan, and have been registered within the last six months to five years, are eligible to apply.

The deadline for applications is 8 February.
