Georgia: media contest for journalists and bloggers from Guria


The Delegation of the European Union to Georgia invites media representatives, citizen journalists and bloggers from the Guria region to participate in a media competition.

The contest is hosted by the Guria Regional Centre and aims at empowering local civil society organisations.

To participate in the competition, please submit your stories published in media outlets in the Guria region. The publications should reflect the work of civic activists related to social issues, civic activism and civic responsibility.

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 July 2022.

The best entries will receive a gift certificate for 300 Georgian lari.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service.
