EU4Youth: course on environmental and youth-oriented campaigns for youth from Georgia and Armenia

As part of the newly initiated green entrepreneurship transboundary youth platform, EU4Youth announces an open call for Georgian and Armenian youth to participate in a cycle of courses on implementing environmental and youth-oriented regional campaigns.

The online course cycle aims to empower young people and enhance their knowledge of environmental communication and youth mobilisation in order to promote youth activism at the regional level.

The cycle will be open for Georgian (from Gori, Akhmeta, Ninotsminda) and Armenian (from Lori, Tavush, Shirak) youth, who are willing to join the green entrepreneurship transboundary youth platform and become active participants in upcoming youth opportunities in Georgia and Armenia.

What will you learn within the educational cycle?

Students will be able to learn more about the importance of an impact-oriented campaign, youth involvement and mobilisation techniques, development and maintenance of various communication content, advocacy, and stakeholder relations.

The cycle will take place from 1 to 10 March, via ZOOM. The course is free and is open to young people aged 14-29. Those wishing to participate must fill out the application form and express their willingness to become a part of the youth platform by 28 February.

The activity is powered by the Green Entrepreneurship Transboundary Youth Platform, which aims to foster transboundary cooperation between Georgian and Armenian youth by creating an innovative, youth-development-oriented network.

The ‘Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development (SEED) programme for Green Growth in Borderline Communities‘ empowers disadvantaged youth to successfully transition from education to work in Georgia and Armenia through developing their Social Entrepreneurship and Green Innovation skills. The action encourages in particular vulnerable groups in target regions to seek innovative solutions contributing to green growth and higher social impact of their professional activities.
