EU scholarships for Belarusian students at universities in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and the Czech Republic – apply by 25 July

The European Union has launched an application procedure for ‘EU4Belarus Scholarships – SALT (Support for Advanced Learning and Training)’ for Belarusian students studying at universities in Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Poland, starting from the academic year 2020/21.

Belarusian students who were forced to leave Belarus in 2020-2022 due to repression or threat of repression (including against their parents or legal representatives, if it affected the applicants directly) and who started their studies in the universities of Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic and Poland not earlier than in the 2020/2021 academic year, may apply for the scholarship.

The amount of the scholarship is €450 per month. The maximum period of support is three academic years.

The deadline for applications is 25 July. The results of the first phase will be announced no later than 15 August.

A seminar on application rules will be held on June 29 at 17:00 (GMT+3, Minsk). Sign up: https://forms.gle/f1UwiHeVvzVzVM44A

The competition is held within the framework of the EU-funded programme ‘EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the people of Belarus’. In 2022, 40 scholarships will be distributed in the first phase of the programme. At least 150 scholarships are planned to be distributed in the second phase.
