The EU 4 Women Empowerment in Armenia project has issued a call for proposals for a subgrant project to strengthen leadership and enhance the participation of the Yazidi community in Armenia’s efforts towards sustainable development.
The size of the grant is €20,000 for a project of up to 10 months. The deadline for applications in 31 July.
The objective of the call is to promote activism, enhance leadership and foster the participation of the Yezidi community in sustainable development efforts in Armenia. Activities can include capacity building workshops, awareness raising activities, and activities that foster a supportive environment for Yazidi girls and women.
At least 60% of direct beneficiaries should be women and girls, and 30% youth.
The ‘EQUAL – EU 4 Women Empowerment in Armenia’ project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the OxYGen Foundation, the European Partnership for Democracy NGO, Netherlands Helsinki Committee NGO, Women’s Support Centre NGO, and WINNET Goris Development Foundation in cooperation with WINNET Sweden NGO.
