Sharp increases in trade and economic policy uncertainty, weaker external demand and the direct and indirect effects of the announced increases in import tariffs are negatively affecting the development prospects of the EBRD regions, says the latest edition of a flagship economic report by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The report contains an analysis of the current economic situation, and a forecast for the second half of 2025 and 2026 in the Eastern Partnership countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
