The European Union and Armenia


This factsheet, released in September 2025, highlights new developments in EU-Armenia relations based on the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), in force since March 2021. In February 2024, the EU and Armenia agreed to launch work on a new Partnership Agenda, setting out more ambitious priorities for cooperation in all areas. This new Agenda is underpinned by the €270 million Resilience and Growth Plan (2024-2027), centred around three priorities: investing in connectivity and business, bringing Armenia closer to the EU, and fostering a resilient and inclusive Armenian society.
