EU4Business Country Report 2024: Moldova
The ‘EU4Business Country Report 2024: Moldova’ provides an overview of the EU support to Moldovan SMEs, the EU4Business country Portfolio, and the major results in the country over 2024.
In 2024, the total budget of EU support to 5,594 SMEs in Moldova was €165.8 million. The turnover of EU-supported SMEs in Moldova in 2024 was almost €791.5 million. An average income per SME supported is €112,218. The number of jobs created in supported SMEs has reached 12,975. The share of MSMEs owned or managed by women and benefitting from EU support – 38.4 per cent – was slightly higher than the 36% recorded in 2023.
