Launch of the first calls of the Creative Europe programme 2021-2027

The first calls have been launched under the new Creative Europe programme (2021-2022), with a total budget of €2.4 billion over seven years. The programme aims to help professionals and artists from all cultural sectors to collaborate across disciplines and borders, to find more opportunities and to reach new audiences.

The Call for European Cooperation projects, with a budget of over €60 million, will focus on European artistic cooperation and innovation on topics such as audience engagement, social cohesion, digitisation, contribution to the European Green Deal and sector-specific challenges in the book, music, architecture and culture heritage sectors.

The deadline is 7 September.

The Call for European networks of cultural and creative organisations, with a budget of €27 million for the period 2021-2023, will support capacity-building projects implemented by representative, multi-country, membership-based networks of European cultural organisations.

The deadline is 26 August.

The Call for Pan-European cultural entities, with a budget of €5.4 million for the period 2021-2023,  will support orchestras which aim to offer training, professionalisation and performance opportunities for young highly-talented artists.

The deadline is 26 August.
