WHO’s online courses are now available in Azerbaijani

The World Health Organisation in Azerbaijan presented the Azerbaijani page of its OpenWHO online training platform, developed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Azerbaijani health workers.

A special online meeting to introduce this was organised in the framework of the European Union-WHO joint ‘Solidarity for Health Initiative’ and ‘COVID-19 Vaccination Support’ projects. It was attended by representatives of the Territorial Alliance for the Management of Medical Units (TABIB) and heads of more than 150 medical institutions.

The OpenWHO platform contains links to over 120 free online available courses prepared by WHO experts. As of yet, only one course is available in Azerbaijani – Leadership and programme management in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).
