European integration enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova
The constitutional amendment concerning European integration was officially published in the Monitorul Oficial (Official Journal) on 5 November 2024.
This follows the Constitutional Court’s decision of 1 November 2024, approving the introduction of this amendment.
“This landmark decision reaffirms the European Union’s commitment to supporting the Republic of Moldova on its journey towards a brighter European future, bringing new opportunities, stronger communities, and shared values,” says a press release by the EU Delegation to Moldova.
