From 28 to 30 November, the National Conference of District/Municipal Youth Councils in Moldova brought together 60 delegates from youth councils across the country.
Key Achievements over three days of event include:

The conference also featured sessions dedicated to networking, informal discussions, and strengthening youth structures.
Participants were joined by partners who actively support youth councils, including representatives from the Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova, the National Youth Agency, and the ‘EU4Youth: youth engagement and empowerment’ project. Each message underscored the importance of youth engagement and the pivotal role of representative structures in the sustainable development of local communities.

Additionally, on 6 December, the National Network of Local Youth Councils of Moldova held the Local Youth Councils Awards Gala, celebrating the achievements and impact of youth councils across the country. Over 60 participants attended the event, which highlighted notable initiatives, community contributions, and examples of effective youth participation. The gala also recognised the support of national and international partners whose involvement strengthens youth councils and contributes to their continued development.
Both events were organised by NNLYC within the ‘Upgrade YOUth’ project, supported by the National Youth Agency through the Annual Grant Programme for Youth Organisations 2025, and with the support of the ‘EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment’ project, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
