EU4Moldova completes rehabilitation works at Bratuseni Veterinary Medicine College
The Bratușeni Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture Economics college in Moldova has completed a comprehensive modernisation under the ‘EU4Moldova: Local Communities’ programme, the EU Delegation to Moldova announced on 17 November.
The programme is supported by the European Union and the Austrian government and implemented with the assistance of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
The €325,000 investment contributed to upgrading infrastructure, improved energy efficiency, provided modern equipment and learning materials, strengthened digital systems, and delivered targeted capacity building for staff and students.
“Equipping schools with modern infrastructure and learning materials, we contribute to quality vocational education, technical education as well as lifelong learning opportunities that meet the demands of today’s labour market,” said Ilona Gruenewald, Programme manager for agriculture and rural development and food safety at the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova. “It allows students and teachers to develop professionally and ensure a harmonious fit in the workplace and ever-changing life and business environment.”
More than 450 students and staff from Bratuseni College are now directly benefiting from the modernisation.
