EU-Armenia cooperation: EU Delegation to Armenia launches discussions with local think tanks

On 1 August, the EU Delegation to Armenia held its first dialogue meeting with local think tanks, focusing on EU-Armenia economic relations.

The discussion, led by the EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, addressed Armenia’s key economic challenges, the need for a more diversified economy, and the role of EU support in this process.

The meeting was the first of the planned dialogues aimed at fostering evidence-based policymaking and empowering Armenian think tanks to play a stronger role in deepening EU-Armenia cooperation.

The meeting was organised within the ongoing ‘Bridging knowledge and policy: strengthening Armenian think tanks for enhanced EU engagement and regional cooperation’ initiative.
