Azerbaijan: EU promotes traditional food in Shaki and Shirvan

The EU Delegation to Azerbaijan has supported two agricultural festivals in the country.

On 7 July, the Shaki Food and Agriculture Festival took place in Shaki. It showcased the traditional food heritage of the Shaki-Zagatala Economic Region.

On 11 July, a similar festival was held in Shamakhi, presenting traditional products for the Mountainous Shirvan Economic Region.

Both events also sought to attract tourists to the regions and forge links between interested businesses.
