YEA MAGAZINE – 2021

We are proud to present the third edition of the Young European Ambassadors’ (YEA) Magazine! In celebration of 2023 as the European Year of Skills, we have dedicated this year’s magazine issue to exploring the topic of skills. Inside you will find 15 articles written by young people from across the European Union, the United Kingdom and the Eastern Partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. We invite you to join us in learning about all things skills: the importance of skills, the process of acquiring and developing them, the relationships between skills and different industries, and how they can be used to positively impact our communities. The articles cover an array of topics including, but not limited to multilingualism, geography, the arts, environmental sustainability, media literacy, the workforce, and education. Whatever your interests are, you will certainly find an article worth reading

We are extremely excited to welcome you to the second edition of the YEA Magazine that is launched to coincide with the Council of Europe’s Democracy Here Democracy Now! campaign and their Youth Action Week. We have worked hard to bring to you different perspectives on the European Union and the Eastern Partnership, travelling across the continent to investigate what impact young people are having on their societies, and how they see the future. This is the European Year of Youth, and with this issue, we aim to make a statement: young people and their rights and needs are at the heart of society, they need to be at the centre of decision-making and to have the space they deserve.
