Margarita has a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from the American University of Armenia (AUA). As an active member of the AUA community, she founded the Speak-up public speaking club, was elected as a Student Council member, and co-organized TEDxAUA 2018 and 2019. Currently, she is working as Communications and Administrative Coordinator at Entrepreneurship and Product Innovation Center (EPIC) at AUA. Margarita is also a member of the advisory council on youth policy at Yerevan Municipality and editor and contributor of European Youth Press.

It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
