Thomas (Tomek in Polish) is a Franco-Polish citizen, a dual identity that deeply shapes his personality, interests, and daily life. While studying political science, international relations, Franco-German politics and European studies at Sciences Po Strasbourg, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Aberystwyth University in Wales, and the College of Europe in Warsaw, he specialised in the Weimar Triangle, Central and Eastern Europe, as well as EU enlargement and neighbourhood policies. He currently works as an assistant for scientific projects at a newly established, Warsaw-based French research institute on Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Northern Asia. He has also been involved in various initiatives supporting Ukrainian refugees – mostly war orphans – and has participated in several European volunteering experiences, such as EYE2021, the 2023 European Games in Kraków, the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, or Europamobil 2025.
