Iryna is an International Baccalaureate student at United World College Costa Rica, who is passionate about bringing diverse perspectives in addressing global issues Living in a community with representatives from 76 different countries, she enriches the learning environment with a uniqueness of cultures and is fluent in 5 languages. Iryna was a representative of the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) initiative in Erasmus+ projects in Lithuania and Spain. Her passion for global politics, media communication, cultural appreciation, and sustainability, which she has demonstrated through volunteer work with organisations such as UNICEF and UNESCO, led to her gaining the award the ‘Volunteer Oscar 2021’ from the Ukrainian Catholic University.
