Working with People: volunteering opportunity in the Czech Republic

The Diocesan Charity České Budějovice (DCHCB) in the Czech Republic is looking for volunteers from a number of European countries, including the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) for its project supported by the European Solidarity Corps.

Volunteers will be engaged in three types of activities:

  • support of older people and people with disabilities,
  • support of homeless people,
  • work with children and youth in the programme Young Caritas.

The call is open to all young people, including those with fewer opportunities. A prerequisite for the volunteer  is communicativeness and at least a basic knowledge of English.
