Volunteering opportunity at the European Integration Club in Poland

The “Schuman Solidarity Crew” is looking for volunteers aged between 18 and 30 years, with a strong will to learn some Polish, as volunteers will need to know a few crucial phrases to work with children and youth who often don’t speak English. The call is open to youth from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

Volunteers will be working at the European Integration Club (EIC) in Silesia, Poland. The EIC is an informal union of students and teachers interested in the EU and other cultures. The EIC activities are intercultural, focusing on the European and civic education of youth. Within the EIC workshops, school exchanges, and debates on European topics are organised. The volunteers will:

  • organise individual English/mother tongue conversations with members of the European Club and high school students and help them improve their language skills;
  • prepare presentations/workshops about Europe & EU, European values and other topics of volunteers’ interests connected with the mission of the project;
  • promote international volunteering;
  • they will also have space to develop their own projects/propose their own activities.

Accommodation, food allowance and travel reimbursement are covered by the organisers. The project is organised under the European Solidarity Corps.
