Oleh is currently working towards his PhD at the Львівський національний університет імені Івана Франка (Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko). He also lectures at the Нацiональний унiверситет фізичного виховання i спорту України (National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine), and works as a physical therapist at a Ukrainian hospital.

Oleh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical and Occupational Therapy from Львівський державний університет фізичної культури імені Івана Боберського (Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Boberskyi) and a Master of Arts in the same field from Український католицький університет (Ukrainian Catholic University).

He is the head of the “Ukrainian Student Association of Physical Therapists” which focuses its activity on education and developing international communication with other student NGOs in Physical Therapy. Since May 2021, the organisation’s work has been geared towards the accreditation of educational programs of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, and in particular supports Ukrainian universities to improve the provision of educational programs in the speciality of Physical Therapy (227), and Occupational Therapy.

Oleh also finds time to participate as an active volunteer in local initiatives. In 2022, he became an Ambassador of the international program ENGin. He is passionate about health and challenges faced by educational systems and looks forward to sharing European values.

Oleh adores learning languages including Polish and English and of course playing sports.

Oleh brings a wealth of experience to the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative.
