Stop Domestic Violence!

Project Description
The Project aims to raise awareness on women's rights, government-led measures against domestic abuse within multi-ethnic/multi-religious regions of Georgia in order to eliminate and prevent violence against women in Georgian households.
Specific Objective
- Raising awareness on measures against domestic violence, guaranteeing necessary assistance for domestic violence victims
- Organizing regular seminars and educational activities in target regions- Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe Javakheti.
- Conducting awareness-raising campaigns to identify and prevent domestic abuse, empowering women and supporting them with employment opportunities and economic independence.
Expected Results
- Three Educational Rehabilitation Centres established with the provision of temporary housing as well as medical and legal assistance services;
- Increased awareness of targeted audience on domestic abuse
- Increased awareness of vulnerable women about empowering resources, including various professional courses, support in employment and economic independence.
