Young Moldovans will receive their first internships in public institutions with EU support

For the first time, 47 undergraduate, masters and young graduates will undertake a two-month internship in public institutions thanks to a pilot scholarship programme launched by the European Union in partnership with the Moldovan government.

The programme aims to give young people the opportunity to learn first-hand what it is like to work in the civil service and to acquire skills that will enhance their employability after graduation.

The fellows were selected through a competition organised by the EU Delegation to Moldova and the Moldovan government. They will start an internship in one of the state institutions – ministries, institutions, the National Bank, the Money Laundering Prevention and Combating Service, and  the Presidency.

The initiative was launched in the context of the European Year of Youth 2022 to encourage young people to participate in all social, economic and administrative activities. The scholarship programme is funded by the European Union.
