‘Every tonne of grain counts!’ – European Commission launches EU-Ukraine business matching platform

The European Commission has launched a new tool to connect companies in the EU and Ukraine. The platform, managed by the Enterprise Europe Network, will help businesses find pragmatic solutions to export agricultural products from Ukraine as soon as possible.

Millions of tonnes of cereals are stuck in Ukraine and we need to join forces across sectors and borders to move them: companies looking for ways to support Ukrainian exports, companies offering transport or storage solutions, and Ukrainian grain traders looking for logistics partners – our matchmaking platform will help create new partnerships. I look forward to seeing them in action — every tonne of grain counts!” said EU Transport Commissioner Adina Vălean.

The new tool helps to identify new logistics chains for exporting and importing products and materials from and to Ukraine, to find new partners for logistics and international trade, to rethink logistics and supply chains, and to adapt infrastructure and get the right equipment and machinery to the right place.

The platform focuses on the logistics industry, production and processing, exports and imports of agricultural products, exports and imports of food products and raw materials.

The Platform supports the implementation of the Action Plan on the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Corridors, which aims to ensure that Ukraine can export cereals and import the goods it needs.
