Zulfiyya is studying State and Public Affairs at Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (Baku State University). Born and raised in Azerbaijan, she has embraced the striking combination of intercultural transitions and diversity. This has fueled her passion to be in vibrant and diverse environments. Zulfiyya was part of the Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (AIESEC) in Azerbaijan – the largest youth organisation – for a year, and continued on after the first year having gained the positions of team leader and product manager. As an active member of civil society, she has used opportunities provided to attend and implement several community-building projects with strong emphasis on peace. In parallel with her current role as an education consultant, she believes that Young European Ambassadors’ initiative will be a precious step for her all-round development.
