Solomiya is a Sociology alumna from the Український католицький університет (Ukrainian Catholic University); she now studies European enlargement, identities, and migration at the Central European University. Being involved in volunteering and community activities, she conducts sociological research for Ukrainian public organisations and Ukrainian refugee foundations abroad. Solomiia participated in several Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges on social entrepreneurship, European integration, and partnership with Eastern bloc countries. Participation in forums on climate change and sustainability in Berlin, Germany, and on Ukraine’s post-war recovery in Warsaw, Poland, led her to co-authorship of the publication “Modernisation and Recovery of Ukraine from the perspective of Ukrainian and European students.”

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
