Sofiia is currently on a gap year after graduating from high school. In the future, she aspires to work in the field of international politics and contribute to the development of positive relations between Ukraine and the European Union. Her greatest passion is travelling, exploring other countries, languages, cultures and unique traditions. Sofiia supports the official slogan of the EU – “United in diversity” – and sincerely believes that all countries, like certain musical instruments, differ from each other, but together they harmoniously combine to create an orchestra. She joined the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative in order to contribute to the promulgation of European values and standards in her community, and to the development of Ukraine as a strong European state.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
