Salome is studying International Relations at the International Black Sea University and frequently participates in voluntary work. She believes it is crucial to the advancement of society. She is also an active Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) alumna who participates and assists in the implementation of various community service projects. Salome hopes to pursue a career in conflict studies and resolution as she finds them to be highly interesting. She is also interested in climate change, having just completed an internship at the Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus, where she worked on Georgia’s “Integrated Transparency Framework for Paris Agreement Implementation” Project. Salome looks forward to her latest role as a Young European Ambassador.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
