Rashid is an engineering student at Kaunas University of Technology who also works as an English Tutor. He is also an alumnus of the FLEX Program, an exchange program funded by the US State Deparment. Driven by his passion for making positive changes in his community, Rashid is highly involved with organising and participating in social projects aimed at community service and development. He has completed an internship as a Coordinator of Volunteers at Sumgait Youth House, a social service organisation in his hometown, and is currently the University Representative of the FLEX Program at his university. He has organised various community-based projects such as a food drive, feeding stray animals event, productivity workshops, and has actively volunteered in a variety of locations such as Azerbaijan, the US, and Lithuania. Rashid is devoted to promoting EU values and projects in his community and he believes the Young European Ambassadors’ initiative will help him do this more effectively.
