Orkhan Bashirli is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in International and European Business Law at KU Leuven based in Belgium. Before this, he graduated from Baku State University, Faculty of Law, with a Bachelor’s degree in Law. He is a lawyer and participated in several legal projects both in his home country and in Europe. Besides, during his years at Baku State University, he was a chairman of the Student Youth Organization at the Faculty of Law and organized many projects and activities for young people. iAt the same time, he is now involved in the youth sector as well as the Director of the Caspian Initiative for European Integration & Partnership, a political and lobby organization of Azerbaijani youth in Europe. He works to promote his country and to establish integration/partnership inclinations between his region and Europe. His main interest areas are international law, democracy, human rights, politics and international cooperation.
