Orkhan is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International and European Business Law at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, having completed a Bachelor degree in Law at Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (Baku State University). He has participated in several legal projects both in his home country and in Europe. Alongside his undergraduate studies, he was a chairman of the Student Youth Organisation at the Faculty of Law and organised many projects and activities for young people. He is now involved in the youth sector as well as carrying the role of Director of the Caspian Initiative for European Integration & Partnership, a political and lobby organisation of Azerbaijani youth in Europe. He works to promote his country and to establish integration/partnership inclinations between his region and Europe. His main interest areas are international law, democracy, human rights, politics and international cooperation.
