Mariam is studying for a Bachelor degree in Social and Political Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She is interested in social and political issues in the modern world and she considers diplomacy her future profession. She is determined to work hard and provide a better future for her generation and her country. Mariam is interested in a multitude of other things outside her studies as well. She has been volunteering for different projects since her time at school and she is not one to miss an opportunity to help someone. She believes exploring new countries, languages, cultures, people, and traditions is one of the most interesting occupations there is. It is enjoyable to connect the past, present and future of different countries and find out what can be done to contribute to the global community. To further expand her knowledge and skills, Mariam is learning French and Korean. She enjoys talking to different people and believes it is the best way of learning more not only about them but about their home countries as well.
