Lilit holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations from Yerevan State University and is currently studying for a Master of Arts in European Studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. As a result of her academic interests in global affairs, diplomacy, and political-economic issues she was selected to take part in the TFAS Prague Academic Programme at Univerzita Karlova v Praze (Charles University in Prague). Lilit is also a parliamentary intern at the National Assembly of Armenia and has extensive work experience including volunteering and youth work. She completed a successful youth project as an EU4Youth Alumnus, and at the moment, is actively engaged in implementing a community development project in the Lori region, as a volunteer of the KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation.

EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
