Joan is student of International Relations & History at the University of Navarre. At the same time he completed an on-site program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to study the Middle East and an exchange program in Strathmore University to learn from the international relations in Africa. He has also been youth representative of the non-profit organisation Kinderenergy at the UN New York headquarters, was elected “best delegate” at the EWEI EU parlament model in Brussels and is Senior Research Assistant in the Center for Global Affairs & Strategic Studies (GASS). With an attitude of service, he is a strong believer and supporter of the European Union values and principles, understanding that the EU common project and identity is incomplete without our Eastern neighbours.

This website is managed by the EU-funded Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood ('EU NEIGHBOURS east’), which complements and supports the communication of the Delegations of the European Union in the Eastern partner countries, and works under the guidance of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, and the European External Action Service. EU NEIGHBOURS east is implemented by a GOPA PACE-led consortium. It is part of the larger Neighbourhood Communication Programme (2020-2024) for the EU's Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, which also includes 'EU NEIGHBOURS south’ project that runs the EU Neighbours portal.
